American Organist Dave Wickerham To Perform At Historic Saltaire Wurlitzer

The Cinema Organ Society is presenting acclaimed American organist Dave Wickerham in concert at Victoria Hall, Saltaire, on Sunday, March 9th at 2:30pm. This performance is part of Wickerham's UK tour and will showcase the venue's magnificent Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ.

Wickerham, named American Theatre Organist of the Year in 2011, began his musical journey at just four years old. His impressive career includes positions at the renowned Organ Stop Pizza Restaurants in Arizona and various venues in the Chicago area.

The Cinema Organ Society, established in 1951 as a national charity, promotes organ music as entertainment through three regional districts. The northern district, based in Saltaire, maintains the impressive Wurlitzer pipe organ featured in this concert.

Visitors can enjoy refreshments before and during the interval, when first-time attendees will have the opportunity to view the organ's impressive structure, comprising nearly 1,000 pipes and percussion instruments.

The venue offers level entry via Lockwood Street and lift access. Tickets are £13 for adults, £5 for those under 26, and free for under 18s, available at the door by cash or card. Group discounts are available with advance booking.
