The much-loved Spiegeltent is back with a bang and a sizzling summer programme of jazz, rock, burlesque, dance and much more.
The Spiegeltent Festival 2026 – in association with Ogden of Harrogate, one of the country’s best known family jewellers – runs from 25 June to 4 July in Crescent Gardens, featuring an exciting line-up curated by award-winning saxophonist and composer Camilla George.
Leeds’s finest, Hope & Social – dubbed “Yorkshire's own E-Street Band", will get the party started, bringing their all-out infectious energy to the tent. Among the exciting names appearing this summer are the brilliant Cut A Shine, with their rip-roaring ceilidh, and rising jazz sensation Lucy-Anne Daniels.
Renowned sitar duo Ayan Sengupta and Srijanee Banerjee, accompanied by tabla player Ustad Shahbaz Hussain, will bring a world of soul-stirring Indian classical music with Grīṣhma: Indian Summer Soirée, while there’s the return of some old favourites with the feather-ruffling House of Burlesque, Silent Disco and Jimmy’s Night.
Ogden of Harrogate, known for its stunning collection of fine jewellery and distinguished clients, is back as Spiegeltent sponsors. The James Street business, now run by Ben Ogden, has a long affiliation with Harrogate International Festivals.
The current owner of the famous jewellery business is a direct descendant of founder James Ogden, who opened Ogden’s Little Diamond Shop way back in 1893. Within a few years it moved into its present location going on to attract a global clientele including such iconic figures as Winston Churchill, Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn and, more recently, Madonna.
Ben Ogden said: “We are proud of our association with the Spiegeltent Festival – it’s a real gem that brings together so many talented and diverse performers to Harrogate.
“We’re looking forward to seeing some of the dazzling array of artists on stage and helping the Festivals celebrate its 60th anniversary this summer.”
Sharon Canavar, Chief Executive of Harrogate International Festivals, said: “It’s fantastic to see the much-loved Spiegeltent back in town and we’re thrilled that Ogden of Harrogate is back as the sponsor – it feels like the perfect fit.
“As an arts charity, we rely on support from fantastic businesses like Ogden’s – without it we simply wouldn’t be able to bring great events like this to our town.”
